KESAR KHEER
5 cups Milk
1/2 cup rice
4 tsp ghee,2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamoms
3 tbsp almonds
3 tbsp cashew nuts
2 tbsp raisins
2 tsp saffron
Few drops rose Water
MethodWash and soak rice for four hours.
Soak the almonds in boiling water for few minutes, then remove and place in ice water. and remove the skin and split.Dissolve saffron in warm milk.
Boil milk.
Heat a pan with ghee and fry the rice. Add the rice to the milk and stir continuously.
Reduce to low heat and simmer until the rice is cooked.
Add sugar and continue to cook until reduced to a custard consistency. Now add the remaining ingredients and stir for a minute. Remove it from the heat and serve ho
